Chanel, Inc and Young & Rubicam Forge U.S. Media and Marketing Partnership.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1999--

Chanel, Inc. announced today that it has retained Young & Rubicam Inc. to work for the company on a number of marketing fronts.

The Media Edge, Y&R's media planning and buying unit, has been named to handle these services in the U.S. for Chanel, Inc. With its proprietary brand model, BrandAsset(R)Valuator, and its Brand Planning Group, Y&R will also serve as a consultant to Chanel on branding and select new marketing initiatives.
