Chancellor Media Names Chad Haldeman Director of Sales for Denver.

New Position Supports Chancellor's Growth in Denver Market

Samuel "Skip" Weller, Vice President, Regional Operations for Chancellor Media Corporation (Nasdaq: AMFM) announced the appointment today of Chad Haldeman, 33, to the newly created position of Director of Sales for the Company's radio station holdings in Denver. Chancellor owns five FM stations and one AM station in Denver including KXKL-FM, KIMN-FM, KALC-FM, KXPK- FM, KVOD-FM and KRRF-AM. In this position Mr. Haldeman will be responsible for key account development, top-line growth and marketing programs for local and national advertisers.

Prior to this appointment Mr. Haldeman served as Chancellor's Local Sales Manager for KXKL-FM and KRRF-AM in Denver. An innovative retail marketing specialist with an extensive track record in generating non-traditional revenue, Mr. Haldeman launched his career in broadcasting in 1988 at WCCO-AM in Minneapolis as an Assistant Producer. He then moved to London for a brief assignment with United Press International. Upon his return to the United States, Haldeman began his career in sales as an Account Executive at KSPN-FM in Aspen before moving to KXKL-FM in Denver to assume a similar position in 1994. He is a graduate of The University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
