Chancellor has created a challenge that will pitch athletic talents against the fight for cancer. This will be Boston's first 100K road race; open to both individuals and corporate sponsored relay teams. All race related fees and donations will benefit the Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world renowned organization that raises the awareness and funds to fight for children with cancer.

Adley, and his family are the primary sponsors for the inaugural running of the CHANCELLOR CHALLENGE 100K, which will be held Saturday, October 9, 1999 and will begin at the MDC Hatch Shell. The race fast became of international interest, attracting elite "ultra-marathon" runners from around the world. The web site allows the runners from Russia and South Africa to obtain the same information as the participants from the United States.
