BUSINESS people in Denbighshire are to get the chance to put forward their views on the way ahead for the county at a meeting in Bodelwyddan next month.

The county council is developing a 20-year vision for the county based on what people from all sections of the community say they want.

The Vision for Business event at Bodelwyddan Castle on February 2, will be addressed by finance, local government and public services minister Sue Essex who will talk about the Assembly's new economic strategy and its vision of Wales in 20 years.

Denbighshire council leader Rhiannon Hughes, who is also responsible for regeneration and economic development, said: "This promises to be an exciting event which will give local businesses the national, regional and local perspective."

He added: "DeepStream has developed a new way of manufacturing digital technology that will revolutionise electrical products to make them more intelligent, with the potential to change how we live and work for the better."

Technology developed by DeepStream helps customer such as washing machine manufacturers to customise existing products or develop new ones, for example by replacing pre-set wash programme with a range of more energy efficient options tailored to each load. It says the new sensors will revolutionise domestic and industrial products around the world.
