TQS certification is only granted to organisations that deliver exceptional employer-led training and development solutions, as determined by a rigorous independent assessment of quality, capability and improvement.

Reaseheath College in Cheshire and Poultec Training in Norfolk achieved the standard in recognition of the supreme efforts they have made to deliver quality training solutions in the dairy and meat and poultry sectors respectively.

Both centres of excellence are already network champions within the Improve-led National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing.

The Training Quality Standard is sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council and is based on an assessment framework that is designed to meet employer needs and instigate To incite, stimulate, or induce into action; goad into an unlawful or bad action, such as a crime.

The term instigate is used synonymously with abet, which is the intentional encouragement or aid of another individual in committing a crime.
