The powerful combination provides PC users with the same network capabilities found on Unix workstations from Sun and Silicon Graphics.

PC X users are typically power users with advanced PC to Unix connectivity requirements. Chameleon/X and ChameleonNFS/X include six suites of TCP/IP client and server applications that provide all of the Unix network functionality for the PC. The application suites include terminal emulation, file and printer sharing An operational state in a computer that lets other users in the network copy files and use the printer.
