Chamberlin Joins Transcript as Executive Editor.


SAN DIEGO San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  -- Financial and business journalist George Chamberlin has accepted the position of executive editor of The Daily Transcript A generic term for any kind of copy, particularly an official or certified representation of the record of what took place in a court during a trial or other legal proceeding.

 and San Diego Source. In this position, Chamberlin will report directly to the publisher, assisting in the development of editorial strategies for the newspaper and Web site, and representing the company at selected public meetings and events. Chamberlin assumes his new role immediately.

Chamberlin is widely regarded as the dean of San Diego's financial journalists. He is a veteran reporter and editor, and has maintained a regular presence in the Transcript for several years, writing a daily market recapitulation recapitulation, theory, stated as the biogenetic law by E.
