Recent statistics show that for every percentage point unemployment rates rise, the number of uninsured Americans increases by 1.1 million. With unemployment currently at 8.5%, healthcare providers are bowing under a tremendous financial burden, as they strain to care for patients without losing millions in revenue or jeopardizing their financial stability.
