Chamber music series includes Clinton shows.

The Worcester Chamber Music Society series begins with a concert featuring music from Berlioz, Beach, Mozart and Franck on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Paul St. Paul

, in Worcester; the concert will be repeated on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m., at the Holder Memorial in Clinton. Guest artist will be Greg Bassett, on French horn French horn, brass wind musical instrument. Fundamentally a metal tube of narrow conical bore, it is curved into circles because of its great length. The horn ends in a wide flare. It is a development (c.1650) of the small hunting horn. .

"Music for a While" will be Friday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Museum of Russian Icons The Museum of Russian Icons opened in October 2006 in Clinton, Massachusetts, United States.

The Museum was created by collector Gordon Lankton to house his extensive collection of Russian icons.

"For the Love of Music" is Saturday, Feb. 14, 7:30 p.m., at Assumption College, Worcester, and Sunday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m., at the Clinton museum, featuring music from Martinu, Mozart, Ravel and Mendelssohn, with guest artists Gregory, Muller-Szeraws, School Woolweaver, viola, and David Russell, cello.

The series concludes on Saturday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m., at the First Unitarian Church

The society is keeping the admission costs down. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for students; children under 12 are admitted free. In addition, there are subscriptions available. The Clinton five-concert series is $90, $67.40 and $45, depending on seating.
