The threestorey 29,000 sq ft building officially opened this week on the outskirts of the town centre. Funded by the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative and the European Regional Development Fund, the greenhouse aims to meet the local demand for small, high-quality office space with the onsite support needed by newly started businesses. The 31 business units can accommodate between one and four people. Tenants will also enjoy a range of on-site business support, including advice from the Chamber's business support and training teams, and on-site facilities staff. Kath Boullen, chief executive at St Helens Chamber, said: "The chamber aims to offer as much support to new businesses as possible to help them survive their first few years and flourish in the future."
