Chamber fiasco is criticised.

 Dafydd Elis-Thomas has made fresh calls for the new debating chamber to be completed.

Attending the opening of the Greater London Authority's new building yesterday, he said it was an ``embarrassment'' more progress has not been made towards the new debating chamber. ``We need to get on and build it,'' he said. ``Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff.  and the assembly need a building we can be proud of.''

Earlier this month, the Echo revealed that the project had swallowed up more than pounds 6m of taxpayers' money, even though the project ground to a halt a year ago.
