Chamber Secures Governor Approval on Business Tax Bill. (Chamber Briefs).


The Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Area Chamber of Commerce and other L.A. business organizations applaud Governor Gray Davis' recent signing of AB63. This measure will allow Los Angeles to identify 66,000 taxpayers that paid state taxes, but are not currently paying local business taxes.
