Chamber's report into the energy industry.


ANEW report tackling the issues of the energy sector has been compiled by the region's leading business membership organisation. The North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC NECC National Educational Computing Conference
NECC Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (Norfolk, VA)
NECC Net-Enabled Command Capability
NECC Northeast Mississippi Community College
NECC North Equatorial Counter Current
) has teamed up with partner member Eversheds to produce the report and is calling on more North East companies to add their views.

The report, which includes the opinions and experiences of businesses involved with the energy sector, will be featured at an energy policy event on October 16 at Durham County Cricket Club Durham County Cricket Club is one of the 18 major county clubs which make up the English domestic cricket structure, representing the historic county of Durham. Its limited overs team is called the Durham Dynamos. .

It is hoped regional businesses will be keen to have their say at the event to ensure the report accurately reflects their experiences and future needs.

NECC policy adviser Mark Stephenson said: "We mustn't underestimate the potential of the energy sector and the impact it will have upon businesses throughout the North East in the near future.

"Whether we are talking about energy security and prices, or issues such as planning, regulation and skills, it is hoped the event will harness the views of regional professionals with an extensive range of experiences, which promise to lend weight to an informative and purposeful pur·pose·ful

It was created in 1994 and was adopted for statistics from 1999. It includes the ceremonial counties of Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. ."
