Challengers awards showcase technological advancements.

Seven winners to be recognized for industry contributions.

IWF 2002 will feature the largest Challengers Awards competition in a decade. Ninety-three companies entered 113 products in this year's contest, which recognizes advancements in technology, significant contributions to environmental improvement, and innovations in products, services or manufacturing techniques.

Judges will review the entries and announce 20 finalists in mid-July. Final judging will take place during IWF 2002, and the seven Challengers Awards will be presented during a ceremony at 1:30 on Thursday, Aug. 22.
