CALGARY, Alberta -- Challenger Energy Corp. (NEX NEX

 BOARD:GXE.H) ("Challenger" or the "Company") of Calgary Alberta, Canada is pleased to announce that, in connection with its previously announced reverse take-over of Global Express Energy Inc. ("Global Express" - TSXV: GXE.H), it has filed with the TSX Venture Exchange TSX Venture Exchange

Originally called the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX), this was a result of the merger of the Vancouver and Alberta stock exchanges. The goal of TSX Venture Exchange is to provide venture companies with effective access to capital while protecting investors.
 all required documentation in order to complete the transaction.

In accordance with regular Exchange procedure, the Exchange has halted trading in the stock pending their final review of all documentation, following which the Company will recommence Re`com`mence´
