Challenge for the fearless...


COMPANY teams in Coventry are being encouraged to enter a 4X4 challenge with a difference with Big Brother evictees Alison and PJ.

The Old Hall Events Centre, in Fillongley, is hosting the event on September 21 and 22, and hopes to raise more than pounds 32,000 for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

More than 250 people from companies across the city have so far signed up for the 'I Dare' challenge and will experience the excitement of driving over a demanding all-terrain course with steep inclines, hill descents and a minefield - while blindfolded blind·fold

Tracey Devlin, of Carrick Travel, in Daventry Road, Cheylesmore, said: "I have negotiated a few side slopes and hill descents before but never blindfolded - and skis are not quite the same as a four-wheel drive vehicle! But at Carrick we're always up for a challenge."
