Chairman's message: observations from Michael Tompkins.
A description of those benefits appears on a one-page enclosure in this issue of UNITS magazine, inserted between pages 48 and 49. If you are not already taking full advantage of these benefits, I encourage you to do so. Additionally, I recommend that you share this list with any industry peers as a way of demonstrating to them the value that NAA membership brings in advocacy, education and communication. Please encourage them to contact their local affiliate for information about membership.
For those receiving this issue who are members, also enclosed is an NAA Proud Member decal for display on your office window or door. This decal is an indication that you are a member in good standing with the national association.
You can now highlight your membership with NAA by placing the NAA Member logo on your business card, letterhead, company Web site and any other communications vehicles. A how-to instruction sheet on logo use appears on the opposite side of the page that lists NAA and NAAEI benefits.
In the coming year, we will continue to bring you the resources you need for professional growth in the rental housing industry through advocacy, education and communication. In so doing, the rental housing industry, responsible for housing more than one-third of the nation and employing more than 500,000 people, will become stronger and more united.
Should you have any questions regarding your membership in NAA, please contact Valerie Hairston, NAA's Director of Membership and Affiliate Services, at 703/518-6141 Ext. 138 or email@example.com.
Please let me know about any successful outreach that you experience when discussing the benefits of NAA membership or comments from peers about displaying the NAA Member logo as we continue to grow our associations. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
