Chainsaw alert for foreign conman.


A FOREIGN-sounding salesman driving a black Ford car has being flogging dodgy dodgy - Synonym with flaky. Preferred outside the US  chainsaws across North Wales North Wales (known in some archaic texts as Northgalis) is the northernmost unofficial region of Wales, bordered to the south by Mid Wales and to the east by England. .

The conman says he can offer a good deal because he has to make a hasty exit from Britain.

Farmers in Gwynedd and Denbighshire have been duped.

The police are investigating and the Farmers' Union of Wales has warned members to be on their guard.

"He claims to be giving farmers a good deal on top-of-the-range chainsaws but after checking them out the purchasers have discovered they are not the genuine article," said FUW FUW For Use With  Caernarfonshire executive officer Gwynedd Watkin.

"It appears this man tells the same story to farmers when he calls.

"He says he is due to fly out of the country that evening and that's why he can offer such a good deal."
