Chained and locked!I WOULD like to ask the road/traffic authorities to please come and investigate how new car parks (with chains and locks) have been built on supposedly government-owned footpaths on Road no 1210 in Gufool, Manama Manama
City (pop., 2001: 143,035), capital of Bahrain. Situated at the northeastern tip of Bahrain island, it is Bahrain's largest city, with about one-fifth of the emirate's population. 312 area.
It gives the owners 'extra-privileged' parking. However it is 'no-parking' for citizens like us who stay in other buildings whose owner's have not yet thought about this novel idea (prospective building owners also please note!).
Could the concerned authorities reply to this letter after verifying ver·i·fy
tr.v. ver·i·fied, ver·i·fy·ing, ver·i·fies

2. whether these car parking 'blocks' are legal, so we can also follow suit?
