Chainalytics Accelerates Growth in Asia Pacific with Hiring of Managing Director; Wallet To Build On Strong Presence In The Region.

ATLANTA -- Chainalytics LLC announced today that Ken Wallet has joined the company as managing director of Chainalytics' Asia Pacific practice. Wallet, who comes to Chainalytics from Manugistics, will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of Chainalytics' service offerings to companies across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, Ken will help accelerate the momentum established in the region by Chainalytics India Private Limited, based in Bangalore, India.

Supply chains in Asia are becoming increasingly complex as many Asian economies take part in the regions' growing presence as the "factory to the world." And growing Asian consumption is creating opportunities for both local and multi-national retailers and consumer goods manufacturers. This globalization and "stretching" of supply chains both into and out of the region is creating the need to apply more sophisticated business practices and analytical techniques within the discipline of supply chain management. As the new leader of Chainalytics' Asia Pacific (APAC), Wallet will bring the company's leading supply chain design, inventory planning, and transportation planning services to both local and multi-national manufacturing and retailing clients to improve their performance in the face of these complex challenges and opportunities.

Ken comes to Chainalytics with more than 20 years experience in supply chain management, with 12 years dedicated to developing international markets. Prior to joining Chainalytics, Wallet served as President of Manugistics Asia-Pacific, responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the region with offices located in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney. He also actively participated in growing Manugistics' services and software sales in the U.S. and Latin America. Prior to Manugistics, Wallet served as Regional Managing Partner for Accenture's Logistics Strategy Practice (LSP) in Latin America and also worked with Deloitte & Touche as Vice President of the Garr Consulting Group. He served as a founding partner of two consulting practices, BGW Consultants and Grupo Logistica International. Ken is an alumnus of the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University.
