Venture capital firms funding the second round of financing include Boston based Adams, Harkness & Hill, Atlas Venture Atlas Venture is an international early-stage venture capital firm that invests in communications, information technology, and life sciences companies. Atlas Venture has investing offices in Boston, London, Munich, and Paris, and its investments are evenly divided between the  (1st and 2nd round investor), OneLiberty Ventures, Sigma Partners Sigma Partners is a major venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley and Boston. Sigma Partners invests in early-stage information technology companies (semiconductor, software and hardware).

The firm was founded in 1984 by J. Burgess Jamieson and C. Bradford Jeffries.
