The prestigious International Standards Organisation (ISO) 14001 certification is primarily concerned with environmental management, and provides a framework for an organisation to control the environmental impacts of its activities, products and services, and to continually improve its environmental performance. Leading certification body, British Standards British Standards are the national standards of the UK. The standards body which produces them is BSI British Standards, a division of BSI Group. It is incorporated under a Royal Charter and is formally designated as the National Standards Body (NSB) for the UK. Institution (BSI BSI - British Standards Institute ) assessed the Stranraer dairy site by rigorously analysing documents, staff training, practices, as well as testing staff members against a strict series of procedures including Environmental Awareness, Environmental Auditing and Environmental Monitoring.
