The CP 3100 family offers four unique configurations designed specifically to address two distinct segments within the SMB market:

-- Customers Without A Data Protection Plan

Customers that do not have a data protection plan may choose from a turnkey desktop or 1U rackmount solution that includes a 160GB disk drive, integrated Certance DAT 72 tape drive and fully-licensed Yosemite TapeWare XE backup software.

-- Legacy Customers That Have A DDS-4 or DAT 72 Drive

Customers that have already made an investment in DDS-4 or DAT 72 technology, from any manufacturer, may choose from a 160GB internal or 320GB rackmount model, enabling them to extend their tape investment and create their own D2D2T solution. Yosemite TapeWare XE backup software is also included for customers that do not have a backup software package. Understanding the need for simple installation and configuration, the Certance CP 3100 recognizes and dynamically configures itself to emulate the attached tape drive.
