Company Appoints Susan Codrington as Managing Director

to Lead Newly Opened London Office

CertCo, Inc., a leading provider of risk management and security solutions for B2B e-commerce, today announced the appointment of Susan Codrington as managing director of its newly established London office.

Through this new operation, CertCo will market its services to the rapidly growing European B2B e-commerce sector, which IDC predicts will grow from $55 million in 2000 to more than $1.4 trillion by 2005.

In a separate release, CertCo today announced that it has secured $20 million in financing from a group of investors including Deutsche Bank AG, Four Partners, an entity of the Tisch Family Interests, Bank One and Cazenove Private Equity, a division of Cazenove & Co. Ltd., one of the UK's leading independent investment banks.

Codrington will leverage her business development and sales experience in the Internet security space to drive CertCo's expansion throughout Europe. In this role, she will spearhead the formation of strategic alliances with key technology providers and also collaborate with existing partners to enhance CertCo's diverse risk management and PKI-based security offerings. Codrington also will lead the company's overseas sales efforts, and work with corporations, financial institutions and online exchanges to deliver solutions that enable them to confidently conduct global, high-value transactions via the Internet.

Previously, Codrington served as sales director at London-based PKI consultancy Xtranet, where she handled sales of Internet security solutions and managed major contracts within the banking and telecommunications industries. Prior to that, she headed up her own consulting firm, providing value-added services for e-commerce and Internet-related businesses throughout the United Kingdom. Codrington also served as director of client services at Israel-based Surecomp, where she managed consultants and technical teams in Europe and the Far East, achieving major agreements with both existing and new business partners. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Kingston University in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey.
