Pietrowski's move follows a series of executive management changes at Cerplex over the past few months. Last week, Robert N. McFarland was appointed senior vice president, North American sales (BusinessWire 1/25/96). McFarland was formerly vice president and general manager of Asian and Middle East operations at AST Research AST Research, Inc. was a personal computer manufacturer, founded in Irvine, California in 1980 by Albert Wong, Safi Qureshey and Thomas Yuen. (The name comes from the initials of their first names.  Inc., a Fortune 500 computer manufacturer.
