 to the position of vice president, Worldwide Sales, Customer Service and Business Development, and announced the appointment of Peter Fetterolf as vice president of Engineering.

Mr. Lenis is responsible for all of the company's sales development activities, pre- and post-sales services and support, and for business alliances and partnerships. He reports directly to Mahesh Ganmukhi, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Cereva.

An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in high technology environments, Mr. Lenis joins Cereva from Cisco Systems, via Cisco's acquisition of PixStream of Waterloo, Ontario. As vice president of worldwide sales for Cisco/PixStream, he built a global sales organization and increased revenues by over 400 per cent.

Prior to PixStream, Mr. Lenis was vice president of worldwide sales and business development at PakNetX, Inc., Salem, NH, where his successful OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  strategy led to the company being acquired by Aspect Corporation. Prior to PakNetX, Mr. Lenis served as director of distribution at MultiLink Corporation, Andover, MA, building a nationwide distribution channel. MultiLink was subsequently acquired by PictureTel Corporation.

Mr. Lenis has also held senior sales, marketing and management positions with IBM, Siemens and Boston Technology. He holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts The system includes UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth (affiliated with Cape Cod Community College), UMass Lowell, and the UMass Medical School. It also has an online school called UMassOnline.  and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.

Cereva also announced today the appointment of Dr. Peter Fetterolf as vice president of Engineering. Reporting to Mahesh Ganmukhi, Dr. Fetterolf is responsible for all hardware and software architecture and development for the Cereva storage system.

Prior to joining Cereva, Dr. Fetterolf was a co-founder of, and vice president of software for, Ignitus Communications, Acton, MA, an optical networking start-up acquired by Lucent Technologies in 2000. Before Ignitus, Dr. Fetterolf served as director of IP Software at Cascade and Ascend, Westford, MA.

Dr. Fetterolf's work at Cascade/Ascend followed a career as a management consultant at Arthur D. Little Arthur D. Little, Inc. is the world's first management consulting firm. Founded in 1886 by Arthur Dehon Little, an MIT chemist who discovered acetate, and co-worker Roger Griffin, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Arthur D. Little pioneered the concept of contracted technology research. , Cambridge, MA, where he specialized in information technology and telecommunications. He has also served as a member of the Computer and Electrical Engineering faculty at Boston University. Dr. Fetterolf holds a Ph.D. in systems engineering and an M.S.E.E in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (body, education) University of Pennsylvania - The home of ENIAC and Machiavelli.
