Ceremony needs drummers.


STAFF at the Belgrade Theatre The Belgrade Theatre is a live performance venue seating 866 and situated in Coventry, England. It was the first civic theatre to be built after the second world war in Britain and as such was more than a place of entertainment.  are looking for 100 drummers to take part in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Children's Games.

Drummers aged 12 and over who would like to take part are invited to audition audition /au·di·tion/ (aw-dish´un) hearing.

 on Sunday, April 24 at the Belgrade Theatre in Belgrade Square, Coventry city centre.

Those chosen for the event will play a 10 minute piece written by former Saw Doctors drummer Johnny Donnelly.

The drummers will also have chance to take part in a carnival procession on Saturday, July 9, as part of a performance called Phoenix Rising.
