Ceramics mission.
Two students from a South Wales South Wales south n → sud m du Pays de Galles university will represent the UK at
an international ceramics convention in Denmark.
Second year students Rosanna Martin and Helen Pickles from the
University of Wales Affiliated institutions Cardiff was once a full member of the University but has now left (though it retains some ties). When Cardiff left, it merged with the University of Wales College of Medicine (which was also a former member). , Institute, Cardiff, (Uwic) are set to attend the
European Ceramic Context 2006 Festival this week on the Danish island of
Bornholm. The event consists of three exhibitions showing contemporary
ceramics, two workshops and a conference.
They will join 48 other students representing 25 countries in the
10-day workshop entitled 'Deconstructing the past - building the
future'.
