Cerami honored with Galaxy Award.


Victoria Cerami, President of Cerami & Associates, was recently honored by the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

) recognizing her achievements as one of the leading women in real estate. Cerami was nominated for the award by CREW*NY, (Commercial Real Estate Women of New York). The award was presented at the Fifth Annual Galaxy Awards, NYWA's signature event, on June 13 at the Sky Club.

Cerami assumed leadership of Cerami & Associates in 1987, at age 27, following her father's death. She successfully steered the business through the real estate recession of the early nineties, and in 1997, anticipating opportunity for a competitive edge, added an audio-visual design studio. In 1997, she acquired Energistics, a Houston-based acoustical testing laboratory and national leader in HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) In the home or small office with a handful of computers, HVAC is more for human comfort than the machines. In large datacenters, a humidity-free room with a steady, cool temperature is essential for the trouble-free  technology and architectural testing. After fourteen years, she has tripled both the revenues and employee base of firm and remains focused on growth.

The firm's international credentials in acoustical and audio-visual engineering span the gamut of building and project types. Among others, they include commercial, institutional, religious, and performing arts facilities. Projects range from complex A/V (1) (Audio/Video) Refers to equipment and applications that deal with sound and sight. The A/V world includes microphones, tape recorders, audio mixers, still and video cameras, film projectors, slide projectors, VCRs, CD and DVD players/recorders, amplifiers and  installations to skyscrapers. Cerami & Associates is located at 317 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. It runs from Madison Square (23d St.) to the Madison Bridge over the Harlem River (138th St.). In the 1940s and 50s, some of the major U.S. . 370-1176.
