Ceradyne Inc. Receives $9.1 Million ESAPI Orders.COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Ceradyne, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq:CRDN CRDN Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network ) received new delivery orders for approximately $9.1 million of its lightweight ceramic body armor, enhanced small arms protective inserts (ESAPI ESAPI Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts (bulletproof vests) ESAPI Encryption Services Application Programming Interface ESAPI Enterprise Security Application Programming Interface (Open Web Application Security Project) ). These orders were placed by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP DSCP Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (US DoD) DSCP Differentiated Services Code Point DSCP Diffserv Code Points DSCP Defense Satellite Communications Program DSCP Decision Support and Custormer Platform (Sprint) ) for delivery late this year and early 2007. These orders were placed against a larger indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ ID/IQ Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ID/IQ Indefinite Duration/Indefinite Quantity ) contract announced previously.
