Ceradyne, Inc. Receives $8.3 Million Ceramic Body Armor Order for U.S. Air Force.


COSTA MESA Costa Mesa (kŏs`tə mā`sə), city (1990 pop. 96,357), Orange co., S Calif., on the Pacific south of Santa Ana; inc. 1953. It is a transportation, residential, and light industrial center. , Calif. -- Ceradyne, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq: CRDN CRDN Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network ) received an order for $8.3 million for its lightweight ceramic armor systems for use by the U.S. Air Force. Shipments are expected to commence in November 2005 and be completed by March 2006.
