Ceradyne, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq: CRDN CRDN Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network ) today announced it has received a $3.3 million order for its ceramic body armor Noun 1. body armor - armor that protects the wearer's whole body
body armour, cataphract, coat of mail, suit of armor, suit of armour

armet - a medieval helmet with a visor and a neck guard
 ballistic plates. The order was issued by a Government agency in order to protect certain "elite" military personnel.

The order is scheduled for delivery from April through August 2002, and is one of a number of orders, or releases, Ceradyne has received resulting from an indefinite quantity Noun 1. indefinite quantity - an estimated quantity
quantity, measure, amount - how much there is or how many there are of something that you can quantify
 contract originally announced in March 1998. With indefinite quantity Government contracts, the Company records as an order only those releases indicating a firm delivery date.
