Ceradyne, Inc. Opens Washington, D.C. Office; Marc King New Vice President Armor Operations; Focus on Military Ground-Based Vehicle Armor.


COSTA MESA Costa Mesa (kŏs`tə mā`sə), city (1990 pop. 96,357), Orange co., S Calif., on the Pacific south of Santa Ana; inc. 1953. It is a transportation, residential, and light industrial center. , Calif. -- Ceradyne, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq:CRDN CRDN Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network ) announced the opening of a new office in the Washington, D.C. area to support its lightweight ceramic armor business, with a strong focus on military ground-based vehicles. Marc King, long-time military officer and senior executive in military and defense-related equipment matters, will head Ceradyne's efforts in this new office as vice president of armor operations.

For the past 15 years since leaving the military service, Marc King has held management and marketing positions in industry, primarily related to military ground-based vehicle armor and components.
