CeraPedics Announces Addition To its Clinical Advisory Panel.


LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Bharat Desai, M.D. Joins Colorado-based Company that Developed Revolutionary New Bone Graft Material

 focused on the development of synthetic bone graft products incorporating its proprietary P-15(TM) technology, announced today that it has added Bharat M. Desai, M.D. to its Clinical Advisory Panel. Dr. Desai is currently in private practice at Panorama Orthopedics, PC in Golden, Colo. CeraPedics' Clinical Advisory Panel will play a key role in the development and commercialization of the P-15 technology for orthopaedic applications.

Dr. Desai is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine The Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM), located on the Health Science Campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, is one of 6 schools of medicine in Pennsylvania conferring the doctor of medicine (M.D.) degree.  in Philadelphia. He served a mixed surgical internship, as well as, an orthopaedic residency at Geisinger Medical Center Geisinger Medical Center is a hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania, serving as the primary hospital for the also Danville-based Geisinger Health System, a primary chain of hospitals and clinics--which includes the Danville medical center-- across northeastern and central Pennsylvania.  in Danville, PA. In addition, he completed an ACE Trauma Fellowship at Harborview Medical Center Harborview Medical Center, located on Seattle's First Hill, is the public hospital of King County, Washington and is managed by the University of Washington. It was founded in 1877 as King County Hospital, a six-bed welfare hospital in a two-story south Seattle building.  in Seattle, WA. Dr. Desai is very active in the medical community as a member of the Colorado Orthopaedic Society, the American Medical Association American Medical Association (AMA), professional physicians' organization (founded 1847). Its goals are to protect the interests of American physicians, advance public health, and support the growth of medical science.  and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and has specialized in orthopedic trauma for the past 10 years with a special interest in the healing of traumatic injuries and osteobiologics.

Dr. Desai joins other distinguished members, Michael Janssen, D.O.; Courtney Brown, M.D.; and Vikas Patel, M.D., on the CeraPedics Clinical Advisory Panel. Dr. Janssen is Chairman of the Board of AO Spine International, as well as the Spine Education and Research Institute, one of the leading centers for the study of non-fusion technologies. Dr. Brown is the founding president of the Colorado Orthopaedic Society, former chairman of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' Committee on Rehabilitation and was a consultant to the U.S. Olympic Ski Team for 25 years. Dr. Patel is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics, and Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the University of Colorado University of Colorado may refer to:
