CepTor Announces That Jerry R. Mendell, M.D., Renowned Muscular Dystrophy Expert, Joins Scientific Advisory Board.

HUNT VALLEY, Md. -- Kurtz Professor of Neurology, Pediatrics and Pathology at Ohio State University to Provide Clinical Direction for Myodur Studies

CepTor Corporation (OTCBB:CEPO) today announced that Jerry R. Mendell, M.D., Director of the Neuromuscular Center at Columbus Children's Research Institute and former Chairman of the Department of Neurology of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, has joined the Company's Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Mendell is extensively published and considered a worldwide thought leader in the area of muscular dystrophy.

Dr. Mendell is board certified in Neurology. Before embarking on a distinguished career at Ohio State, Dr. Mendell was an attending physician in the neurology branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and completed his residency training at the Neurological Institute of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Mendell received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and his BA from the University of Texas.
