Mendell, M.D., Director of the Neuromuscular Center at Columbus Children's Research Institute and former Chairman of the Department of Neurology of the Ohio State University College of Medicine, has joined the Company's Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Mendell is extensively published and considered a worldwide thought leader in the area of muscular dystrophy.

Dr. Mendell is board certified in Neurology. Before embarking on a distinguished career at Ohio State, Dr. Mendell was an attending physician in the neurology branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH "Not invented here." See digispeak.
