Century Services Awarded Two Contracts with Washington Gas for Year 2000 Conversion.

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 1997--Zmax Corp. (OTC:ZMAX) announced Wednesday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Century Services Inc. (CSI), has been awarded two contracts in support of Washington Gas's (NYSE: WGL) Year 2000 software conversion efforts.

Under the first contract, CSI will provide its proprietary VISION 2000(SM) service to analyze and convert a significant number of lines of software code. In a separate consulting agreement, CSI will provide technical support in the application of test scenarios, tools and regression testing for Washington Gas.
