SBAExpress, formerly FA$TRAK, was established as a pilot program with 18 lenders in Februrary of 1995. In 1998, the program was revised and expanded to additional lenders and continued as a pilot program in 2002. In July of 2002, SBAExpress was enhanced to significantly increase the number of small business loans approved by the Agency and to increase the number of lenders participating in the program.

By submitting a completed application and information form to the SBA, borrowers can expect to receive communication regarding their eligibility from the SBA Agency within 24 hours.
