Century 21 begins construction on new Ramapo dormitories.Joseph Marino, President of Century 21 Construction, announced the commencement of construction on the second phase of the new dormitories being built for Ramapo College Ramapo College of New Jersey is a public liberal arts and professional studies institution of the New Jersey system of higher education. With the completion of this project in late summer, Century 21 will have built 2.56 new dorm rooms for Ramapo College in two new facilities. The total construction budget is approximately $21,000,000. The mast recent residence, formally named Maple Hall, has 128 rooms. To. accommodate two to three students per unit, each room will be fully furnished with beds, desks, seating, bookcases, wardrobes, private bathrooms and micro-refrigerators. Each resident student will have access to the campus voice, video and data network. The fully sprinklered, five-story building includes a first floor lobby and lounge areas on each floor. Century 21 was also responsible for constructing an 8,600 square foot Pavilion for Ramapo College that includes a kitchen, dining hail and fitness center which serves the two new dormitory buildings.
