Centurum Awarded Contract with a $46.7 Million Ceiling to Provide Technical Services to SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston.

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Contract Will Allow SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston's Code J71 to Maximize Warfighters' Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Capabilities

Centurum, Inc., a provider of mission-critical technologies to the federal government, today announced that Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston, a government and component organization of the U.S. Navy that provides full service engineering and technical services support around the world, has renewed Centurum's contract with the Shipboard Cryptologic Technical Support Services (SCTSS) to provide support to SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston's Information Warfare (IW) Exploitation Systems Engineering Division (Code J71) in the areas of testing and assessment, operational and maintenance training, and equipment repair. The award, which is for one base year with five one-year options, is potentially worth $46.7 million.

The contract will allow SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston's Code J71 to maximize the warfighter's command, control, computer, communication, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities (C4ISR). This will be achieved through rapid development, production, fielding, and support of cost effective, state-of-the-art, and supportable IW exploitation, threat warning, and detection systems. Under this contract, Centurum will continue to provide critical support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and government agencies.

Centurum will focus on providing comprehensive systems engineering and design solutions that help deploy revolutionary advances in information and communication technologies, including solutions that transform IW system users into a knowledge-superior and network-centric force. In addition, Centurum will provide the services required to field and support new, state-of-the-art systems, as well as conduct systems analysis and onsite installation and upgrades, while providing user training, technical support, and contract management expertise to meet the warfighter's needs.
