Centurion Gold Holdings Receives Approval to Begin Rehabilitation of Omaruru Mine; Expects Gold Production Immediately; To Reach 20 kg Monthly Starting November.

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa -- Mine Waste Solutions' Chemwes Acquisition Funding on Track to Close End of Month

Centurion Gold Holdings, Inc., (OTC BB: CGHI.OB), announced today that it has received approval to rehabilitate the Omaruru Gold Mine, Sudwala Caves, Mpumulanga, South Africa. All preparations have been completed and the rehabilitation will start immediately.

The rehabilitation process is expected to produce a gold concentrate that will yield 10 kg of gold in the next month and 20 kgs of gold by the end of October. Starting in November, the rehabilitation process is expected to yield an average of 20 kgs of gold a month for the next three years.

The rehabilitation process involves the processing of by-products from previous mining operations to produce gold concentrate, the Company explained. The by-products are cleared from the old site and processed.

CGHI has selected Monrita Mining, a mining contractor, to run the operation. Under the contract, Monrita will produce gold concentrate at Omaruru, which will be processed at the Centurion Primrose facility in Germiston, Johannesburg. The terms of the agreement specify that Monrita will bear all the costs of production. Centurion will receive 30% of the production.

Centurion also announced today that the funding for the acquisition of Mine Waste Solutions, Ltd., an environmental remediation company that uniquely combines mine rehabilitation with retreatment, is in the final stages and is expected to be completed by the end of September. Mine Waste Solutions wholly owns, a subsidiary, Chemwes, which currently is processing 6.9 million tons of wastes annually, producing 58,000 oz. of gold a year, accounting for in excess of $22 million in revenue.

CEO Arthur Johnson of Centurion Gold Holdings said, "The rehabilitation of the Omaruru Gold Mine will start adding revenue to Centurion without increasing our costs. We expect government approval of new mining operations at Omaruru to arrive shortly."
