Centurion Announces Granting of Mining and Prospecting Rights.

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa -- Centurion Gold Holdings, Inc. announced today that the Department of Minerals and Energy has approved the Mining Rights for Omaruru Gold Mine and the Prospecting Rights for Majormatic (Naboom Platinum). Arthur Johnson, CEO of Centurion, said, "The Company is especially excited about the Naboom Platinum project. Centurion has already received a Competent Person's Report from SRK Consulting. With this Prospecting Rights approval, Centurion is now in a position to take the necessary steps to prove the reserves."

Centurion is pursuing possible options of funding the exploration process, which may include selling off of non-core assets (in line with the Company's stated strategy), or raising funds in the United Kingdom with a JV partner. Johnson, in commenting on the company's funding possibilities, stated, "Raising funds in the U.K. with a JV partnership may include placing the asset in an AIM-listed entity. Although I cannot assure our shareholders that Centurion will enter into any definitive agreements, talks are currently underway with prospective partners."
