Srinagar, March 17 (ANI): Renovation work at the heritage centuries old Masjid of Akhund Mulla at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir is now underway to restore the vintage grandeur of the monument. Akhund Mulla is considered as the mosque mosque (mŏsk), building for worship used by members of the Islamic faith. Muhammad's house in Medina (A.D. 622), with its surrounding courtyard and hall with columns, became the prototype for the mosque where the faithful gathered for prayer.  within a mosque. The main building is separate and placed within a courtyard surrounding the mosque. Locals feel that attention should be paid to such monuments that are a reflection of the heritage and culture of the region.
