The demand for desalination technology is exploding worldwide as water shortages are becoming more prevalent with economic, political and social effects. The new technology under development by Centriforce is designed to reduce the cost of desalination, and therefore, justify the development of more desalination projects worldwide.

"Lowering the cost to produce fresh water will enable the widespread construction of desalination plants. We estimate that hundreds of new desalination plants will be needed to alleviate water shortages currently emerging around the world," noted Matthew Schulman, President. "Centriforce expects to become a leader in providing desalination solutions due to its lower energy consumption and lower cost to produce fresh water," he concluded.
