:CNEX) today announced that it had participated in the Biodefense Mobilization Conference in Seattle April 8-11, 2002.

The Conference was the largest bioterrorism/biodefense conference ever held in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . The Conference participants included representatives from State and Federal Governments, the Military, fire and police departments, EMS systems, public health departments, private industry and academia.

Among the principal topics addressed were discussions of potential bioterrorism agents and biodetectors, an area of special interest to Centrex. The presentations and discussions reconfirmed the Company's contention that DNA DNA: see nucleic acid.
