Central Vermont fills position of vice president of finance and administration.


RUTLAND, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 1995--Central Vermont Public Service has hired Francis J. Boyle to fill the positions of vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer.

Boyle was previously chief financial officer for Westmoreland Coal Co. in Philadelphia. Before that he was chief financial officer at El Paso Natural Gas El Paso Natural Gas is a system of natural gas pipelines that brings gas from the Permian Basin in Texas and the San Juan Basin in New Mexico and Colorado to West Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, California and Arizona. It also exports some natural gas to Mexico.  Co.

He brings experience in both regulated and competitive industries to Vermont's largest electric company. Central Vermont officials said Boyle's experience in unregulated markets will be valuable to the company as it prepares for the restructuring of the electric industry and more open competition in Vermont.
