WARREN, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2002

Central Transport(R) has received initial approval of its application to join U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT C-TPAT Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (US government) ) through the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for C-TPAT's FAST program will be held near the Ambassador Bridge The Ambassador Bridge is a privately owned suspension bridge that connects Detroit, Michigan, in the United States, with Windsor, Ontario, in Canada.[1] The bridge is owned by the Detroit International Bridge Co.  in Detroit, MI on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 10:00 a.m.

Central Transport is one of the first two trucking candidates to be accepted by U.S. Customs into the FAST program. Additionally, two drivers for Central Transport(R) are the first to receive commercial FAST driver's cards.
