Central Lutheran Church Announces Sunday Service: ``For Such a Time as This: a Call to Interfaith Prayer''.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2001

In response to the national tragedies this week, An Interfaith Prayer Service will be held Sunday, September 16 at 3 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, downtown Minneapolis. Representatives of many faith traditions - including Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist and Native American - will lead worship. A massed choir of singers from several downtown congregations, along with the Augsburg Centennial Singers and The International Gospel Choir will participate. All are encouraged to attend.

"We seek to move from mourning to hope, fear to trust, and shadows to light as Christians, Muslims, Jews and all people of faith pray for God's peace," said the Rev. Craig Lewis Craig Lewis (born December 30, 1976) is an Australian baseballer.
