Central Hudson Names Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Environmental Services.


POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Paul E. Haering, who was recognized as the firm's 2006 Manager of the Year for his championing of electric infrastructure investments, vegetation management and other electric service improvement initiatives, will play a key role in assuring that Central Hudson reaches its goal of improving electric reliability during the next five years.

Haering joined Central Hudson as a Junior Engineer in Substation Design in 1986. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College; earned a master's degree, also in Electrical Engineering, from Polytechnic University; is a graduate of the GE Power System Engineering Program; and plans on completing his course of study to receive an Executive Master's in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in May. He and his wife Lisa reside in Pleasant Valley with their two children, Matthew and Michelle.
