Central Garden & Pet Company Announces Closing of Private Placement of Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2013.

LAFAYETTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2003

Central Garden & Pet Company (Nasdaq:CENT) announced today that it has closed a private placement of $150,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 9-1/8% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2013.
