The German Winefest will be returning to Victoria Square next Thursday, with the best gastronomic gas·tro·nom·ic   also gas·tro·nom·i·cal

Visitors will be able to sample wine from Germany's 13 vine-growing regions and taste sausages with sauerkraut and mustard.

There will be a programme of live music and a wealth of information for wine buffs The name Buffs can mean:

  • Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes
  • Buffs Company, a Rifle Company of The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada that parades out of Dalton Armoury in Scarborough.

Winefest, which is sponsored by property developer Masshouse, will start from 11am to 10pm and runs until August 27.
